Hey guys!
The first month of 2015 has almost finished. Shocking, right? O.o As a New Year's 'Blog' Resolution, I have decided to start a monthly favourites post. I did one in August but I am going to try to make this more regular. It will basically be a summary at the end of each month with my favourites from that month.
January was a great month - icy cold, but still fun. I went up the Shard for the first time at the beginning of the month, and celebrated my 21st birthday. I've read two books this month - Insurgent and Red Riding Hood. I also decided to try Graze Box, which is as brilliant as the reviews claim.
Here are my favourites:
1. My 21st
During January I celebrated my 21st birthday. I had a few different celebrations (all at restaurants!) and got lovely presents! One of the presents I got for my birthday is a Lancôme Mascara. I use this every day! It is currently on offer for only £22.50 on the Boots website at the moment. I like this mascara because it is waterproof and gives high volume. It lasts a long time and doesn't smudge easily unlike many other mascaras.
Another one of my birthday presents I use (or rather, "wear") regularly is a watch. This is a silver DKNY watch.
2. The Shard
I went to the Oblix restaurant in the Shard with my parents and younger brother as a birthday treat. The food was tasty and the views were amazing. I would definitely recommend going there!
3. Graze Box
I started subscribing to Graze Box this month. I've received 4 boxes so far and they've all been excellent. My favourite snacks so far include Marvellous Macaroon, Honeycomb Flapjack, Summer Berry Flapjack, Tropical Daiquiri, Sticky Chocolate Pudding and Fruity Mango Chutney.
4. Pretty Little Liars
This month I've got back into watching Pretty Little Liars. I started watching this a while ago but work got in the way and I wasn't able to access it online. Fortunately, the seasons 1 to 5 have been uploaded onto Netflix. Happy times! :D I'm currently half way through the fourth season. For those of you who don't know about Pretty Little Liars, it's about a group of four teenage girls who receive anonymous texts from someone (who calls themselves "A") after their friend goes missing. Although "A" is revealed at the end of the second season, it appears that there is still someone more threatening out there...I have some thoughts about who this Big "A" could be...in an interview, one of the main actors said that "A" is someone who is in every episode and once we finally find out who it is (apparently at the end of season 6), we will realise that it has been so obvious from the very first episode. I would be so shocked if it was actually one of the main four girls.
There are my January Favourites! What are your favourite things from this month?
Let me know in the comments below!
Hasta luego!
Serena
