April Favourites
Hey guys!
So, we have come to the end of the fourth month of 2015. Hard to believe, right? This year is speeding by! April has been a great month; I enjoyed catching up with friends over the Easter holiday, trying lots of new chocolate (as you can see here, here and here) and just generally relaxing (as well as working on two essays and revising for exams). I've also been nominated for two blogger awards: Sisterhood of the World Award and the Liebster Award, which I was actually previously nominated for back in February. You can click on this link to read that post.
April is one of my favourite months. It is the start of summer and it's so nice to see blue skies and blossom every where. April is also another reason to stuff my face with lots of chocolate!! And, despite being the beginning of the hayfever season, I have been fine so far. Touch wood!
Let's get onto my favourites from this month!
1. Cinderella
I watched Cinderella a few weeks ago and it was brilliant! I will definitely be seeing it again when it comes out on DVD.
2. A couple of books
There were two books I really enjoyed this month: All These Things I've Done and Between. I've already done a post on All These Things I've Done (which you can read here) so I won't talk much about that. I read Between more recently and it was a lot better than I expected. I really enjoyed it and I almost cried a few times! Between is quite an emotional book! I guess I can't say much about the plot without revealing too much, but it's basically about a teenage girl called Liz who wakes up after a boat party to something very shocking. The book follows Liz as she tries to find out what really happened that night with the help of Alex, a fellow student. Liz is a typical popular high schooler and it's quite rare to find books in the viewpoint of someone like her, but Jessica Warman depicted popular kids really well. I'd say that you'll enjoy Between if liked Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac and Before I Fall.
3. Original Source Vanilla and Raspberry
I recently started using Original Source shower gels and I absolutely love them! They smell delicious! I particularly like the Vanilla and Raspberry Flavour. Who can resist vanilla?! Not me, that's for sure!
4. Tesco Custard Cream Spread
A while ago Tesco created a custard cream spread. As I am obsessed with custard cream biscuits, I was so excited when I first heard about this. I went to a few stores to look for it but unfortunately it had sold out. I did a Tesco order last week and finally got round to buying it. I tried a few spoonfuls and it was actually pretty good. I haven't yet used it as an actual spread, but I probably will do at some point!
5. Mist You Badly Spray
I received the Soap and Glory Mist You Badly Spray sometime last year but never got round to doing a blog post about it. The spray smells gorgeous and it lasts for ages! I'd definitely recommend it!
What were your favourites from this month? Feel free to let me know in the comments below!
Hasta luego!

Me too! The lemon and strawberry ones are my favourite!
DeleteI love the Cinderella movie too! The plot is closer to the original fairy tale. And, it's more inspiring than the cartoon version.
