What I Am Looking Forward To Over Summer

Since I have finished all my work for this term and my holiday officially starts this week (minus a few dissertation sessions tomorrow - yay :/), I thought I'd share with you some of the things I am looking forward to this summer.

 

 

 

1. Work experience

 

I am usually so disorganised when it comes to summer holidays, but I decided that this year I would go crazy with applying for internships. I managed to get accepted by a few companies, which was surprising considering I left sending off my CV and cover letters until April. I've got two placements lined up for the hols, one in June and one right at the end of September. They're both in magazines :D

 

 

2. Reading

 

I am so glad that I can read for pleasure again! I did read some fiction books over Christmas and Easter, though now I can do so again without feeling like I should be reading up about something more sociological. There is a long list of books I'm planning to read over summer and I'll be doing a post on that in the near future.

 

 

3. Films

 

I am looking forward to a number of films over the next four months (such a long time!). The main ones are Pitch Perfect 2, Tomorrowland, Paper Towns and Me and Rae and the Dying Girl. Pitch Perfect 2 and Tomorrowland are out in cinemas at the moment so I'll have to hurry up and watch them! Still got a while before Paper Towns and Me and Rae and the Dying Girl are released. Can't wait!

 

 

4. Pretty Little Liars

 

The next season of Pretty Little Liars is out this week and I can't wait! It's such a great show and I've missed watching it! I really hope there are some more answers about Charles and A! I've waited soooo long to find out!

 

 

5. Summer in the City

 

I'm so excited about Summer in the City! I went last year and it was fantastic! Youtube is such a lovely community! I hope I meet Hannah Witton, Dodie Clark and Ebony Day. Can't wait to see my friends again too!
