Well, hello there!

After trying (and failing) to start a blog before, I have decided that I am going to being one now. I'll stick to it, I promise

Now you're probably wondering why on Earth I want to be a blogger, right? Well, as a budding journalist, writing is my passion, and a blog is undoubtedly one of the best ways to get some practice. Keeping a regular blog is like keeping a diary, or a journal; it will not only improve my writing skills, but it will also enable me to become an expert in touch-typing, a necessity to any journalist.

Having a blog is a great way of building up a network of contacts, perhaps through comments on an individual post, or links with other blog sites. As a result, the blogger becomes more well-known and can receive many employment opportunities

Being a Fresher at university, being a blogger is particularly useful for two reasons:

1. It stops me procrastinating.
- Procrastination is a great weapon and should be treated with caution.
2. It will help me keep a record of what I've been doing at uni. -
- I would hate to finish uni in a couple of years' time not remembering a single thing that happened during my course.

Unfortunately, we now come to the end of my first blog post. I sadly have to do this tedious thing called studying. I hope you have a great day and enjoyed reading my post.

Hasta pronto!
