I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED ALL MY EXAMS!!!! WHOOP!!! FREEDOM!!!

I recently got tagged to do the Netflix Tag (thank you to Rach from Stressed Rach). I thought it would be a fun thing to do as I watch a lot of Netflix Tag :p

All Time Favourite

 Has to be Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl. They are two of my favourite TV programmes. I haven't watched Clueless or The Princess Diaries on Netflix but I love both films! I really enjoyed Skins and Miranda but I also watched them before I got Netflix!

 

 

Current Addiction

 Erm, I haven't watched Pretty Little Liars for a while since I've caught up on all the series that are out so far, but I'll definitely say it is my addiction on Netflix!

 

 

Wish List

 Could they please put Awkward on Netflix?! Don't really want to pay £2 for an episode on Amazon! It would also be great if (500) Days of Summer was uploaded too! Might FINALLY get round to seeing it! Oh, and Friends!

 

 

Pet Peeve

Ditto above! Oh, and also those days when Netflix decides it doesn't want to work. Like right now!! Grrrr!!!

Tune Tuesday: Songs I've Been Listening To

 

 

 

Hey guys!

 

 

Today I am going to share with you some of the songs I've been listening to during the past week.

 

 

 

1. Bad Blood - Taylor Swift

 

 

I discovered this song whilst browsing through Facebook and decided to check it out. I'm not very keen on the song, but I quite like the video. It's impressive that Taylor Swift managed to get so many famous people to feature in the video: Kendrick Lamar, Ellie Goulding, Jessica Alba, Selena Gomez, Hayley Williams, Cara Delevingne and Zendaya (they're the ones I recognised). Bad Blood is definitely different to Taylor's other songs and apparently it's about Katy Perry O.o I wonder if Katy will do something similar...

 

 

2. Pretty Girls - Britney Spears ft. Iggy Azalea

 

 

No, no, no, no, nooo. I miss the old Britney :( The one from like 15 years ago. And Iggy Azalea is just TERRIBLE. I can't believe the number of people who like the video on Youtube.

 

 

3. Kiss Me Quick - Nathan Sykes

 

 

Ah, this is so good. Nathan Sykes is great. I wish he'd get more recognition.

 

 

4. Dear Future Husband - Meghan Trainor

 

 

Love this song <3 It's so catchy. The video is good too, though I'm not so keen on Meghan's choice of outfits (the blue skirt? No thanks).

 

 

5. B**** Better Have My Money - Rihanna

 

 

Just no. I wish Rihanna would stick to songs like Take A Bow, Cry, Hate That I Love You, Rehab and Te Amo. Her recent ones are AWFUL.

 

 

6. Flashlight - Jessie J

 

 

Flashlight is taken from Pitch Perfect 2 (I HAVE to see that film!) and it's brilliant. Probably my favourite song on this list!

15 Chick Flicks I Want To See

 

Hey guys!

 

I thought I'd share some films with you that I want to see. As you can tell by the title, this list will be fairly long. I apologise in advance, but there are a lot of films I want to watch! These are all chick flicks, and some are from years ago. A few are out this year.

 

 

 

1. What A Girl Wants

 

I've literally wanted to watch What A Girl Wants for years. I seriously don't know why I haven't yet! I'm going to make it my aim to see it before the end of summer!

 

 

2. The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants

 

Another film I've been meaning to watch for a very long time! I've recently started reading the book so I should watch the film soon.

 

 

3. Bridesmaids

 

This film looks hilarious!

 

 

4. The Lucky One

 

I don't know whether this is a good film or not, but it stars Zac Efron, so I'll watch it just for him!

 

 

5. Moulin Rouge

 

WHY HAVE I NOT WATCHED THIS?!

 

 

6. The Notebook

 

Ditto above.

 

 

7. Never Been Kissed

 

Looks quite good.

 

 

8. Laggies / Say When

 

Laggies (or Say When) is about a 25 year old woman (Keira Knightley) who has a quarter-life crisis and ends up hiding in the home of a 16 year old (Chloe Grace Moretz).

 

 

9. The Duff

 

The Duff looks really silly but it's got 4 stars on Amazon so it can't be too bad.

 

 

10. (500) Days of Summer

 

Shocking how I haven't seen this yet and my parents have!!

 

 

 

11. Ever After: A Cinderella Story

 

I've watched a lot of Cinderella retellings, apart from this one. It stars Brew Barrymore and Anjelica Huston and is described as "a refreshing new take one the classic fairytale."

 

 

12. Blue Lagoon

 

Blue Lagoon is about a boy and a girl who end up stranded on a deserted island and soon fall in love. I've seen the remake, with Indiana Evans and Brenton Thwaites, but not the original. I'd quite like to though.

 

 

13. The Craft

 

This is a bit different to the other films on this list, but it seems like something I'd enjoy.

 

 

14. Pitch Perfect 2

 

I saw the first Pitch Perfect film and it was brilliant. I can't wait to watch the sequel! Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson are great! The soundtrack sounds good too! I love Jessie J's new song!

 

 

15. Paper Towns

 

I am so excited about this film!! The book was so good!

 

 

As you can probably tell, I am soo behind with (some) films! I need to start watching them when they come out rather than 62157054 years later! I wish cinema tickets weren't so expensive and Netflix actually had more films I want to watch!

May Goodies

Hey guys!

Today I am going to share my treats for after my final exam! I still have a while to go (just over a week) but I'm trying to resist the temptation to eat these goodies beforehand!

 

 

1. Ben & Jerry's Baked Alaska

 

This is one of my favourite ice creams from Ben & Jerry's. I love the combination of vanilla ice cream and white chocolate, with some marshmallows thrown in.

 

 

2. Strawberry & Cream Fudge

 

Marks and Spencer has put out a new fudge range just in time for summer. I've tried the peach flavour and it was delicious so thought I might try the strawberry and cream one too.

 

 

3. Caramel Shortcake Bites

 

I absolutely love caramel shortcake, especially the Thornton's one. It's so tasty! I'm looking forward to munching on these after my exam whilst watching a film (or the new Pretty Little Liars series - eeeee!) on Netflix!

 

 

4. Lucky Charms

 

I found these in Poundland for £1. I couldn't believe my eyes! I've wanted to try these for aaaages and they're always so expensive! If I can resist, I'll be having a bowl of Lucky Charms the morning after my exam!

 

 

 So those are my goodies for this month! I've also got the Lindor truffles and Crabbie's Fruits drink leftover from last month. I'm trying to save the truffles as I know I'll end up wanting more as soon as they're finished!

This song is just so catchy! I didn't really like it at first but it's kinda grown on me! Bruno Mars is brill.

Ed Sheeran is great. This is one of his best songs :D

I listen to this too much!!

Ninth Graze Box: Nibble Box Number 6

Hey guys!


I came back from a lovely weekend in Newcastle this afternoon and found a Graze Box waiting for me on the kitchen table. I am quite pleased with the contents. Here's what I got:

1. Thai Tom Yum

 

This looks quite tasty. It's a soup that you have to prepare yourself. I'm a bit worried that it might be a bit too hot for me, and you do have to buy some extra ingredients yourself, but it's different to the other snacks I have received from Graze and I'm looking forward to trying it.

 

 

 

 2. Coconut Crumble Cake

 

Can't wait for this one! I love coconut (and cake)!

 

 

 

 3. Salted Fudge & Peanut Cookie

I tried the Salted Fudge & Peanut Cookie before and it was delicious, though a little salty. I hope it will be as tasty as it was before!

 

 

 

4. Fruity Mango Chutney with black pepper dippers

 

One of my favourite snacks I have received from Graze!

Top Five Countries I'd Love To Visit

Hey guys!

Today I am going to share with you the three destinations at the top of my list of places to travel to (since I can't face doing any work this evening and it's nearly summer anyway). During my youth I have been fortunate enough to travel to some wonderful places. I've been to Spain, Portugal, Italy, Holland, France, Greece and Cyprus. However, there are many, many, many other places I want to visit and I hope to go to America before I'm 25 (less than four years to go- I can do it, especially if all goes to plan and I go to Los Angeles with fellow bloggers next Easter). Reading lots of blog posts on travelling has brought back my need for travelling and I have a serious case of wanderlust. Exploring the world seems like something everyone should do and I can't understand how anyone cannot like travelling!


1. USA

The USA is at the very top of my list. I have wanted to go to America ever since I started watching Disney Channel and Nickelodeon on a regular basis over ten years ago. Watching Gossip Girl has made me long to shop in Upper East Side in Manhattan, and spend a few days in the luxurious Hamptons. I would also love to stroll through Central Park.

 

 

As a fan of 90210, California is a must for when I visit the USA. There are many places in California I long to visit, such as Yosemite Valley, Golden Gate, Disneyland and Hollywood. I don't think I'd be able to see everything I want to in just one holiday!

2. Australia

Australia is a must! It looks like a lovely country and the Sydney Opera House is high up on my list
of places to visit!


3. Iceland

 

 

I have seen so many posts about the Northern Lights and Iceland and it just makes me really want to go there! The Northern Lights look so magical!


4. Switzerland

Like Iceland, Switzerland seems so different to other countries I've visited. I'd love to see Lake Geneva and all the mountains!

 

 

 

This reminds me so much of the Sound of Music (even though it's a completely different country!)!

5. Japan

Not just because I like sushi :p I love the fashion too :)

Throwback Thursday: A Favourite Band

Hey guys!


I apologise for not doing a Throwback Thursday post last week. I had just received my Graze Box and was anxious to do a post about that. Since I've just done two exams, and my next one isn't until Monday afternoon, I thought I'd better do another Throwback Thursday post. I also have more ideas this evening. After a lot of consideration, I have decided to write a post about one of my favourite groups as a child......

 

I am sure that you have all heard about Busted! In my last few years of primary school they were the most popular boy group and everyone was obsessed with them! Me included! I absolutely loved their songs and I was even lucky enough to go to one of their concerts! Unfortunately, it was a few months before they split up, so I was unable to go to any more #sadtimes.


Recently Busted have got together with another boy band, McFly, and they have formed McBusted. However, Charlie (who I'm embarrassed to admit was my favourite member of Busted) has not joined McBusted. Although I like both Busted and McFly, I'm not really a fan of this new group. I liked the original!!!

 

 

 

 

Anyway, here are some of my favourite songs by Busted.........

 

 

 

 

1. Year 3000

 

How could I not include this one?!?!?! Year 3000 was (and still is) one of my favourite songs! It's just so great! I can listen to it over and over again!

 

 

 

2. What I Go To School For

 

Listening to this song now, it sounds really really wrong. But when I was 10 I didn't take much notice. I just loved the song so much!

 

 

 

3. Sleeping With The Light On

 

Another one of my favourite songs by Busted!

 

 

 

4. Crashed The Wedding

 

Brilliant song and funny video too!

Eighth Graze Box: Nibble Box Number 5

Hey guys!


The dreaded exam season has arrived! I have four exams over the next two weeks *cries* My first one is on Wednesday and it's Spanish oral. Ah, I'm so nervous! I always end up saying nonsense in speaking exams. I just freeze and say something really basic, even though I've been learning Spanish for yearrrrs. Hopefully, that won't happen this time!


Anyway, I thought I'd post today because my second Graze box for this term arrived on the weekend and it would be nice to show you what I received :) I also finished the last box (the
Flapjack Box) this morning. As with all my previous Graze boxes, the Flapjack one was delicious. I particularly liked the Lemon Curd and Jaffa Cake flavours :) I am a big fan of lemon flavoured things and Jaffa cakes (though I haven't had Jaffa cakes in a while hehe). The apple and cinnamon flapjacks were yummy too, and I quite liked the protein ones, though they didn't really compare to the others. I think I'd give the Flapjack box 8 out of 10 :)

I'm looking forward to trying the Banoffee Dippers. The dip looks delicious :) I enjoyed the Beach Bum before (I think it came in my first box) so I'm glad Graze sent it this time. Overall it looks like a very healthy and scrumptious choice of snacks :)
